How To Get Back Together Your Ex Girlfriend In 3 Easy Steps

Recently broken up and now wondering "how can I get back together with my ex girlfriend”? You may want to score your ex girlfriend back immediately, and this is a common feeling that everyone experiences after a breakup.

You might find yourself confused, emotionally depressed and wonder what to do now. Your first instinct may be to call her begging her to come back to you. But seriously is this going to make things better? In reality what is probably going to happen is this will strain the situation much more and chase your ex girlfriend away even further.

What you should actually do at this point is the opposite of what you are feeling. Do you feel like calling your ex? Don't! Do you feel like staying inside and moping all day long? Don't! Instead, follow these three basic steps and you will have the answer that you need to the age old question "How do I get back together with my ex girlfriend?"

Step 1 - How to get back with my ex girlfriend: Accept the Break Up!

You need to fully accept that the break up is happening. Tell her that you are okay with it, and allow the "moving on" process to begin. When you do this, it will eliminate a large amount of the tension and stress that is being experienced by both of you. Your ex girlfriend will need time to think about the relationship, and this will give you time as well to consider your options. If your ex girlfriend realizes that she still loves you, she will find a way to get back with you.

Step 2 - How to get back with my ex girlfriend: Do not contact your ex!

Do not make an effort to contact your ex anymore right now. No phone calls, text messages, emails etc. You should cut communication off with her so that there can be some "thinking time" for yourself and more importantly for her. This might seem backwards, but by cutting all communication off you are letting her know that you're already moving on and that you will be fine.

This step is key because it will also allow her to have some time to miss you again. When you can separate yourself from your her and can calm your nerves, that may be the best time to let your ex girlfriend realize how important you were to her.

Step 3 - How to get back with my ex: Plan Ahead for the Get Together

Once you have completed the two steps mentioned just above, you can start working on planning on when and where you should eventually meet. You also need to plan what should be said when you do meet up again. This will allow you to get a better idea of whether or not your ex girlfriend is still in love with you, and also if there is any chance that you and her will ever be together again.

"How to get back with my ex girlfriend?" Can be a little more complicated than the three steps above. Good thing for you my friend is the extra details to getting your ex back can be found in The Magic Of Making Up which is easily downloadable and you can work on getting your ex girlfriend back now.

Your Girlfriend Dumped You. Is It Really The Worst Thing In The World?

I know right now it feels like your soul has been squeezed out of you. You don't care about work, eating or even going to the gym anymore. It sucks, trust me I've been there.

You've been a "relationship guy" aka been in a relationship with a girl you loved for months or even years. As it might not seem like there's a bright light at the end of the tunnel there definitely is. This is a time to reflect on yourself & be selfish. Seriously when one door closes a window opens. Life's just funny like that.

By being selfish do I mean be an arrogant prick to yourself & others? Um, NO! I mean do things for yourself now. This is the time to treat yourself to some new stuff or some old stuff you've missed doing while being in the relationship with her just because she didn't like it.

It's a big world bro. Maybe you love(d) Mexican food & she loved pigging out on Chinese food which you managed to develop a taste for. You did it to make her happy. If you gave up something you loved go ahead & splurge yourself in it as long as it isn't a self-destructing bad habit you had.

Eat the foods you haven't in a while, wear the clothes you like for right now, play some games or sports you haven't done in a while. Seriously it's your life & there's no reason you should wallow around in self pity over this break-up.

While doing these things though remember: Keep your good habits up as well as pick up some new good habits such as bathing daily, wearing clean clothes (buying a new outfit & haircut can do wonders for you if even it's just temporary) working out, being productive at work & even spending time with some family & friends you've been meaning to do but haven't gotten around to in a while. Bang a hooker (Okay I'm joking about this one =)

It's your life & this my friend is totally your time to spread your wings & fly! Until next time, have a great day & make this one your best!

Avoid The Booze After A Breakup

If you're into booze or drugs avoid them by all use after being broken up w/ by your ex.

Here's the most important reasons why:

-They are depressants & you have a million thought swirling through your head right now so no need to multiply them by negativity.

-Them 3AM phone calls to your ex are NOT the way to win back her affection. You often use the words Love & that coming out in slurred drunken speech is highly un-attractive, just think of drunk dials you've received from your ex girlfriend, good grief!

-The hangovers & feeling like crap the next day are not the way to go about your life after break up. This is not the way to move forward in your life to becoming your best self possible.

Also here's a funny video on the History Of The Drunk Dial

Why Did She Break Up With Me?

Believe me, this is a thing I've asked myself many times in the past. It's a serious heart wrenching experience being dumped by the girl of your dreams. Just a few weeks ago everything seemed fine & you had a picture of a beautiful future together with your girl .... now this!

You're alone wondering just what does "I need some space", "We just need some time apart", or "This just isn't working out" exactly mean?

A huge reason she probably broke up with you was because you didn't keep things spontaneous. Maybe you stopped buying her small gifts just because or maybe you did it too much. Maybe you smothered her with the attention that was appreciated in the beginning or maybe not enough. These things when continued through a relationship can make things really predictable which is a fancy word for boring.

It's called getting into the "comfort zone" of a relationship. There is a very fine line between being together and being apart. In the relationship you assumed everything was going to just work out & you would have her heart forever. Sometimes we need a kick in the pants such as being dumped that makes us realize we were either too needy or not there enough for her.

Take a few minutes & pull out the old pen & paper. Draw a line straight down the middle of the page. On the left column write down what you did for her, how you acted towards her & the attention you gave her in the beginning. Go ahead, this blog post isn't going anywhere =)

Did you do it? I'll wait. Okay so I'm assuming you did that now I think you have a good idea of what I'm going to tell you to do now. In the right hand column write down these same scenarios but how they have been recently. I'm asking you to write these & not just think them in your head because seeing thoughts written spurs other thoughts & it's amazing to see the contrast in what you did then & were doing recently.

So now after this short exercise I hope you have a better understanding of how things changed during the course of the relationship. Can you see the area where the "comfort zone" was crossed? I hope so & hope this gave you some insight.

Now that you've done this & have a better understanding of where things got predictable you really need to check out Magic Of Making Up to fill in the missing pieces for your next step.

What About My Stuff After The Break-Up?

After the initial break-up there will be some issues that need to be handled. While it may be pain-staking you must avoid making contact with her. Also you must keep contact from her through texts & phone calls etc. to a minimum & being convenient for you. You just have to keep it cool.

There are exceptions to every rule & there will be some here as well. A big matter after a breakup beyond the initial heart wrenching you're going through is going to be "stuff". Yours and/or hers needs to get back to its rightful owner. If she has your stuff (stuff that actually matters to you, that Cranberries CD that has "your song"? Forget about it). You need to make contact & set up a time to pick up/ drop off stuff. If she wants to do it in person, fine. If she has someone else do it that's fine too.

Be courteous & pack her things neatly, no need to be super neat but don't disrespect her possessions neither. Don't break anything & also don't "accidentally" forget to include anything. Give her everything back that's hers including GIFTS you've given her. Do as you would the way you expect your things back as well. If she "forgets" something of yours that was sentimental to your relationship, forget about it. No sense being needy & hounding her over small stuff. It probably means more to her so let her keep it anyway.

The big meet-up after the break-up.

-Dress nicely, be clean etc.

-Be in the BEST spirits you can be in but not overly friendly

-No physical contact such as hugs, kisses etc. is to be done

-Make it short & sweet. Set the meet up time to be right before you're going out w/ the boys, seeing a family member or even going to the gym.

-Don't come out to tell her what you're doing but if she asks why you're dressed up for, let her know. Don't tell her if you're going on a date & most importantly don't lie about going on a date as that's tacky & you may never get her back.

I hope these tips have helped you out in the "exchanging of stuff".
